ChroviewREN (CHRONICLE Investment Appraiser)
Description
The Investment Appraiser is an innovative tool designed to analyse buildings’ energy-saving investments. Alongside other CHRONICLE components, it provides comprehensive support to stakeholders in the AEC Industry and its inhabitants.
The first part of the Investment Appraiser focuses on property valuation through Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis. This backend solution utilises proven cost KPIs to assess the financial aspects of building performance and renovation scenarios.
The second part of the Investment Appraiser calculates the Carbon Bill. The Carbon Bill quantifies the economic impact of emissions, providing a standardised measure of environmental costs. This approach serves as base for a related CWA (CEN Workshop Agreement) document that is being developed by the CHRONICLE team.
