From March 18th to 20th, the CHRONICLE consortium gathered in Zaragoza, Spain, for our General Assembly and Review Meeting, hosted at the facilities of our coordinator, CIRCE – Centro Tecnológico. The get-together was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, share updates, and align efforts as we approach the final stages of this innovative project.
During the meeting, we had the privilege of visiting the Spanish pilot site, Ecce Homo 8. Once a printing press, this remarkable building was renovated in 2021 by Zaragoza Vivienda and transformed into a social housing block.

The aim of the CHRONICLE project is to improve building performance using digital tools to monitor energy consumption, comfort, and renovation and maintenance planning, while ensuring adequate living comfort. The goal is to establish best building practices by addressing environmental, social, technical, and financial aspects of living. CHRONICLE drives forward solutions for energy-efficient renovations, and moments like these remind us of the tangible impact of our collective work.
