What was the CHRONICLE consortium doing in Billund last week? We did not get to play with Lego, but we did invite our European partners to build the next steps of the project.

In dedicated workshops, we discussed the progress of the development of the CHRONICLE tools, a set of apps for professional stakeholders in the building sector.

The highlight of the meeting was a visit to the Danish pilot site Herning Social Housing, where our close partners FællesBo and Neogrid explained how the renovations and implementation of new measuring tools are going.

Although we had to prioritise work above play, European Green Cities facilitated this event with team building activities, mindfulness and music, to make it a memorable experience!

The Smart Readiness Indicator joint event was a unique opportunity to discuss the smart readiness of European buildings. Expert talks featured speakers representing building professionals, asset managers, regulators, assessors and others exchanging on the building smartness streamlining. The subsequent panel discussion dealt with the technical frameworks and procedural intricacies of the SRI Audit procedure.
